    A systematic review of resistance exercise and immune cell function in humans examined lymphocyte subsets, natural killer cell activity, and inflammatory markers across intervention trials, reporting favorable shifts in several immune parameters with regular resistance training.

    Findings are heterogeneous, and acute post-exercise immune changes should not be confused with chronic adaptation. The consistent signal is a reduction in circulating inflammatory factors with sustained training, which aligns with the aging and skin-remodeling literature in this library.

    This is an area where the evidence supports plausibility and warrants monitoring rather than definitive clinical claims.
